the oven and range work fine but all 5 knobs began breaking about a year ago and won't stay on the range, they are unusable. it's $40 on amazon for a new set. they should last longer than 4 years!

I did not expect the temperature sensor to break so fast. I can not use my oven anymore. Costumer service suggests you to contact a certified contractor who is very expensive.

I purchased this range in 2014. My previous gas range from another manufacturer is still in service at my second home since 2002 and going strong. The oven part of the range works well, it is the range top that is the issue. Cosmetically the SAMSUNG lettering on the control panel came off within 2 years (they used stick on letters...). Really couldn't believe that happened, but it did. The bigger issue is the burners themselves. They are incapable of flame regulation to any degree suitable for cooking. The amount of flame is the same from Hi to Medium. Only after medium does the flame adjust to something lower and the low setting is actually a medium. This range is impossible to simmer. This is the type of control I would expect from a cheap range not a high end range. I have had various gas appliance technicians look at it and everything is installed correctly. My family plays musical burners since the lowest flame is the smallest burner on the right rear. Simmering or sauteing more than one dish at a time is impossible. If that wasn't bad enough SAMSUNG has used plastic to connect the control knobs to the range. Can anyone guess how long it takes before the knob connection is broken and can no longer be used to perform what flame control there is let alone turning the burner on at all? This is a known problem for SAMSUNG, you would have thought they would have sent a replacement set of Knobs to every registered owner as a way of saying "sorry" for our materials engineering oversight on the quality of our product! NOPE, you have to buy them. I have an outdoor gas grill that has been in use since 2003 and those knobs have NEVER broken or needed replacing, 16 years, now that is quality engineering. I am so disappointed in SAMSUNG right now. All of my families cell phones are SAMSUNG, our Plasma TV's are SAMSUNG, our Blu ray, Two Refrigerators (both high end), and our Chef Choice Dishwasher is SAMSUNG. This range is not a good quality product and SAMSUNG knows it.

Good Day i purchase this range in a Samsung kitchen package in December 2017 . i install it in February 2018 and its now march 2018 and majority of the touch buttons not working only the easy mode buttons are responding . i don't understand how that could be and will like to know what to do ? its a good range it cooks well and looks great but don't get why the buttons stop working .

I looked a long time before I purchased my new stove. I wanted a 5-burner stove & convection.
I just got it about a week ago & so far I love this oven.
I bake a lot from scratch & having a good oven is vitally important to me.
I love the fact that this has the huge oven & it came with the griddle & the wok grate! That was an extra added bonus.
The slide out rack is wonderful & very sturdy.
The warming drawer will most likely come in handy also.
The only thing I wish this would have come in white. All my appliances are white & I am not going to change the others. I actually hate silver. So, I really liked the features on this oven & it's quality compared to other brands I looked at to purchase it.

This range makes broiling steaks and seafood easy. With a good range hood I can now broil with out setting off our smoke alarms and opening all the doors and windows to clear any smoke. Be sure to read the section on cleaning the range and follow the recommendations.

I dearly love my new stand alone LP gas range. It's all as advertised. I like the convection as well as the easy glide pull out shelf in addition the other shelfs. Not many others offer this many.
One word of caution to anyone converting this from natural gas to LP. It's not for the novice!! You must have an extensive tool set and a long set of pliers or hemostats in order to convert the bake port. It's not easy!!!!!! Other than that you can not go wrong!!!

This range has so many features. It has a pizza button and a great warming tray. I love the 3 racks in the oven and how the light goes on when you open the door. The gas top works well also. The wok burner is great.. There is nothing negative to say about this range.

We are impressed with how quickly this oven reaches 450 degrees. We make bread frequently and this oven takes less than half the time of our old oven that was a "best buy" by Consumer Reports in the past (as this oven is). The large burners also seem to be very efficient and produce more heat than our old stove.

Before buying this stove, we read all the reviews we could find; not all of which were full 5 star ratings - though for the most part, high ratings.
To be fair, we have had it for only a week so far; but at this point every aspect of it has met or exceeded our expectations. It was delivered in nearly perfect shape; the only defect being a slight bend in the chrome flashing around the bottom drawer, lower left corner. But this was so slight that it was much easier to straighten it than complain about it.
Packaging was perfect.

WE have tried two other ranges with many problems on each and the manufactor would not stand by them or the store where we bought them. the first range could not get ovens to work right ;so did replace that one with gas top an electric ovens. When we used the self cleaning oven it did not clean but company would not replace it . Ovens did not work good and one burner had to be replace in the first month. WE got where we haided this range so replaced it with this gas samsung. So far everything has work Great . WE also bought their 4 door ref. this year and is great.

I appreciate the extra thickness of the door to control the heat. The ventilation pushes hot air of the front where it immediately rises to the vent I have above. The room has stayed cool even under the heaviest use I could throw at it. Everything about it feels solid. I have only had it a few days, but I tested every aspect and believe it to be a superior convection range. So far so good. I will submit more reviews as time goes on. I believe products should stand on their own and reviews are the best protection for consumers.

Whether I use the bake or convection feature, the oven beeps six times way before the internal temperature reaches the desired cooking temperature. Samsung says this is normal . The manual specifically states that when the oven reaches the desired temperature it will beep six times. Either the manual is wrong or the rep is wrong. Very frustrating

The looks and features of this range were great. It had everything we were looking for at a great price. We loved that it had convection, warming drawer, slide out rack, neat cooking settings, 5 burners, wok grate and griddle. We were equally impressed when it arrived. Very nice looking.
Now the reasons we had to sadly return it. We have a smaller kitchen and this range vents heat from the oven straight out over the burners. My wife has MS and is very sensitive to heat so immediately she said it wouldn't work. I tested it for myself and when I had a burner on and the oven on, it made me sweat, literally. We have a really powerful range vent hood, so that wasn't the issue, just bad design to vent oven heat straight at you.
Next issue was that although the the cubic feet of the stove is a nice size, our standard pizza pan would not fit on the rack. The convection fan protrudes from the back of the oven and the racks angle up in the back to prevent a pan from hitting the fan casing. So when we put the pizza pan in it would actually touch the oven glass when we closed the door. Again, we feel just a bad design. The sliding rack however was awesome and heavy duty, just not deep enough for us.
A final insignificant issue was that although it has a huge oven window, if you have something on the top rack, you can't see it. Typically when I broil something, I like to watch "Oven TV" so I don't burn my food. You could always put it on a lower rack to broil, but thought I would mention it.
These issues may not bother everybody, I just noticed the lack of specifics in these reviews, so I hope this helps.

You will need additional parts to accommodate woks and round bottom utensils. Burners are very big. Good for cooking with big pots and pans. If looking into using smaller pans this range is not the one for you.

First of all, I am 71 years old. I have baked bread and goodies since I was ten years old. I have used every type of range, including wood. Each one had good points and sometimes not so good points. In my opinion, I have finally found the absolute perfect gas range!!! My new Samsung ticks all of the boxes I need....a setting to proof bread ( cuts the raising time by two thirds!!) a warming drawer (for my husband when he is late getting home from fishing....) a dehydrator setting for fall apples, a slow cook for stews, convection oven for faster baking, a regular bake, a regular roast or convection roast....OMG, this stove has it all....I told my husband if he decided to throw me out, I was taking the stove with me.....(he loves it too...) so I consider this as added insurance.......for my old age!! If you are searching for the perfect gas range, Samsung has hit the mark. Enjoy!!
