Absolutely the worst ac unit Ive ever seen. They literally expect you to do the labor of fitting the parts together and guess what? They dont They use an ac cabinet that is universal I guess and the faceplate doesnt come anywhere close to fitting. This has to be lawsuit ready since you literally have to void your warranty to fit it. I will never purchase another lg product for as long as I live.

Product is poorly made with little direction for portions that require assembling. Instructions even state plastic pieces for closure guides are easily broken and be careful not to break. Fan speed would not increase beyond F1. Bought what I thought would be largest and best unit for standard plug and was very disappointed. Will be taking unit out and returning. Could not get any customer service representatives on phone. Would not recommend this product. And to top off it is not allowing me to submit by say nick name is already taken.

Doesnt work

Bought at big box store. It wouldnt cool a small room. The external thermometer reads 10-15 degrees cooler than it really is. I can hold the thermometer in between my fingers and it would start blowing cold air. Cant do that all the time. I swapped it for another and it has exact same problem. LG customer service has been worthless. This has been going on since late in the summer and here it is January with no resolution at all. We just keep hearing that we will get help soon.

I brought this 7-6 and already not working. I chat with customer service to get service but it was worst conversation ever. They didnt even know what they were saying. And i couldnt get the service after 20min of chatting. Waste my time. Worst buy ever. I had LG ac at home and u brought it 20 years ago and it still working so I brought LG again but it is piece of garbage with worst customer service. I guess LG is not the company it use to be.

I bought this air conditioner online. When it arrived the fan inside was broken. I called tge company and was told someone would contact me in 24 to 48 hours to schedule a repair. 2 weeks later I had not received a call and returned it.

After having an LG 12K btu AC in my home for 18 years it was time to upgrade. I never had any issues with the original LG unit but very happy with my new 14K but unit by LG. Quiet accurate on temp control and likely as reliable as the other that still works and will be used in the workshop.

I bought it about 2 weeks ago it works well but the assembly was very difficult and the plastic tabs snapped which is a little disappointing since it was $500 but after taping it the product works as intended and has a lot of good features such as WiFi temp control dehumidifier for rainy days and the energy saving mode. Its relativity quiet and definitely is keeping our house cool.
