Great but no low heat on most cycles

Dryer works great. Clothes dont get stuck on the edges of the veins. Seems to dry clothes. Just great. The only problem I have is all of the cycles except delicate or time to dry dont have a low heat option. Unfortunately every piece of clothing made today is tumble dry. Low. Kind of makes the dryer for the most part not useful.

2 weeks after this dryer was installed by Lowes where it was purchased new the dryer would power up but not run. The tenant living in the house where the dryer is used ran thru the troubleshooting guide on the LG website. He contacted me told me the dryer would not operate and he believed based on the error code and tests hed done that the problem was with the door closed sensor. I called LG customer information center and they had me work through their diagnostic procedures. The error code dE was on the display which indicated a door error. The representative had me repeat the test several more times ensuring that the door was completely closed the lint screen was in place and not blocking the door and there was nothing on the door or dryer body that would cause the door to not close properly. She then suggested that I contact Lowes because she thought the dryer may have been installed incorrectly or not level. I assured her it was level an was present when the dryer was installed and it was done correctly. She repeated herself several times telling me it was installed incorrectly. I assured her that it was. She said that the electrical cord may have been put on incorrectly but never asked me to check. Later I did and it was attached correctly. I asked her how a power cord could be attached incorrectly and not be an issue for 2 weeks and only affect the door. She had no answer. I did call the store manager at the Bozeman MT Lowes where the dryer was purchased explained the situation to him and told him LG had tried to blame the Lowes installation for the door error and that they could not give a good reason why. He was not happy about them being blamed for something they didnt do and was going to call his LG representative. She did finally send a service request to the service scheduling department. Today 3 days after that happened I got a text from LG Pending Management Team telling me my appointment had not been confirmed by the service provider and that I should call them. I did. They are located over 2000 miles away in Virginia and only work in their local area. They told me LG had a glitch in their computer scheduling program and was sending repair requests to them from all over the country. I called LG customer service again told them why the repair company could not do the repair. I also gave them names of 2 repair services in my area that worked on LG. He said he would pass that info on to his service scheduling department but it may be an additional 24-48 hours before I heard anything back from them. I also replied to the text from the LG pending management team gave them the same repair service provider info. I asked them to please expedite the repair because the delay in scheduling was because of LGs scheduling software. I also have asked and am asking again right here that if the dryer that has only been used for 2 weeks cannot be repaired quickly that LG provide an authorization for a new dryer to replace the broken one. Realistically with the appliance repair workload in this area assuming a diagnostic call ordering parts then a follow-up service call to install parts were looking at a minimum of 3 to 6 weeks. More if any needed parts are back ordered. I am to the point of being beyond frustrated with this LG product and the LG customer service. If I could give less than one star I would.

My last washer/dryer set lasted for years so when needed a new washer/dryer set and a new fridge we spent close to $2000 on these LG items at Home Depot. What looks like rust appeared on the dryer interior vent grill just weeks after it was delivered. Its raised and may damage clothes. Home Depot will not let you return an appliances unless it is within 48 hours. For weeks and weeks Ive tried to get help from LG. LG does not stand by their warranty. This is the last LG appliance I will purchase.

Does not dry well at all. Clothes still damp after multiple cycles. Dryer vent line is new short and clear Controls are difficult to use and limit drying options. Owners manual does not have clear detailed instructions. Web site offers little more. Description claims to be 7 cu ft. Drum is smaller that our previous dryer and cannot load as much. Very disappointed.

I bought this when I finally got tired of having to do an extra spin on my old washer every time I did a load. I absolutely love the fact that it has a speed wash option extra rinse bedding pretty much any option for all of my needs. I also love the fact that its a front loader so I dont have to struggle to reach the last few socks such at the very bottom of my old washer. Our clothes come out clean very wrung out. I did a lot of research before we chose this model but with the exceptional reviews we chose this one it helped that it was at such a reasonable price. Well so far a great dryer. Would have given 5 stars but delivery and included install turned into a big deal because proper parts were NOT with dryer as advertised. I even called ahead to verify and was assured they would be with delivery. Therefore I had to purchase the proper cord and pipe fitting and do the install myself. Anyway dryer works as expected with no problems. The only drawback is no interior light. We were aware of that but still an inexcuseable design ommission. Now if it only lasts 22 years like our Kenmore we replaced...

You really just have to push the on button set the spin dial push the start button and your clothes are dry. New Dryer

I lost my home to fire started by a perpetrator who assaulted me also. I had to start all over to rebuild and it was a hard task. I had always used a side by side washer and dryer but this time to save space in my new house I looked at the dryers on top of the washer. After using both for a year I am glad I made that decison. The dryer works great and the clothes are dryed with different settings for different types of clothes. It is more up to date than my old dryer and I am happy with my decision. The space saving is great to add more space in the closet I have used the phone once for assistance and the directions were clear with no waiting on line. I got immediate directions. The reason I called is not because of a problem with the machine but because I was the problem to understand what I needed to do. I would buy this product again.

Door issues

Bought a month ago and the installer switched the door to match the washer and when I went to use it...it did not start. As I investigated it was the door that was the problem. The latch would not keep door closed enough to work. I had to switch the door back for it to work. Now the bolts loosen. I am really catching hell with these products. I own same ones in another town and never had an issue and is why I purchased them again. Not sure how to fix this with the customer service I have experienced. Chat AI is all I have been able to reach. A real human calling me would change my mind about LG. I would be open to speaking to someone about this.

Good dryer but no an interior dome light

I love LG products. I purchased one of their washers several years ago and its running extremely well. When I purchased this dryer I didnt notice that there wasnt an interior dome light inside of the drum until they installed it in my basement. If I had I would have returned it. The salesperson that I purchase it from didnt realize it either. How can LG make a dryer that doesnt have an interior dome light? They obviously dont do laundry It has been very frustrating since its very tough to see the clothing inside. Its a small but significant design flaw in my book.

Still not delivered after more than one month.

I bought this more than a month ago. Still has not been delivered. RXO made five attempts but not able to deliver because they told me the power cord they brought with was too short. They told me they would contact their manager and dispatch department to make sure next delivery team would have the 6 feet long power cord. But each time they failed to bring. Today they were supposed to deliver again between 12:30 to 4:30 pm. At 11:30 am they called me to change to 2:30 to 6:30pm. I waited until 6:30pm still nobody showed up. Very disappointed.

Dryer was given as gift.LG didnt want to honor warranty when it stopped working after 11 months. We are Seniors and dont do much laundry. Toss clothes in to get wrinkles out and hang to air dry.LG then wanted receipt even though I had been told it qualified after arguing with original rep.Then had to email 3 different receipts until accepted. Would NEVER buy another LG product.Wish I could have given 0 stars

I bought this dryer on October 12th. I was told its estimated delivery would be October 16th. I did not receive it until October 23rd. I would not dry on sensory dry the temp button would not change temps overall I was extremely disappointed. We have owned LG washers and dryer for years and this was our first bad experience. We are in the process of returning it

Impressive features but tall when stacked

Weve just had this dryer with the matching WM3400CW washer for a couple of weeks. So far we like them very much but theres an issue that needs to be mentioned. We have these stacked to fit in our laundry room. They replaced old Whirlpool machines. Due to the larger capacity and size of the LG machines when theyre stacked the control buttons and digital panel for the dryer is 6 ft. 3 in. from the floor. For us we are fairly tall this is a minor inconvenience but for others that are shorter it may be a major inconvenience.

LG makes a good product. Best buy installed the dryer and it should have came with the correct dryer vent in my opinion. The LG support has been phenomenal make sure we got our issues solved. Thank you LG support team

I bought for 700 on in September and it still is not working. The LG people did a test with me and say the issue is on my end. They told me its not LG and to hire a vent/ duct cleaning company to see if it fixes the problem but our previous dryer worked fine until we decided to upgrade. I deeply regret the purchase. I called a vent cleaning place and it will cost several hundred dollars to check. They are booked up as well so will be weeks longer.

The delivery of my dryer was postponed for a week because the they couldnt find the dryer. How do you lose a DRYER? Then when they did deliver the dryer they forgot the electrical cord. That delayed the delivery another week. I was then called and told it would be delayed further. How could they possibly NOT HAVE THE CORD I could drive down the street to Home Depot and buy the cord in 20 minutes Of course if I did it they would void the warranty. The people that I dealt with had such a strong accent I couldnt understand a word they said. They were very nice but unfortunately I couldnt understand them. I will NOT be purchasing through LG again

Terrible product worse support

Bought this from Lowes. Hate it but hate the experience more. Thr error codes started a month after installing them by Lowes FYI and then trying to get LG to assist on a warranty issue was ridiculous. They required we clean our ducts at our expense which was over $300 and would not reimburse us. Thats IF the 3rd party Sears which has still not shown up to fix or repair the dryer says its the dryer that is truly bad. We spent 50 of the retail price just following the warranty demands of LG and more than a month later we still cant do a complete load of laundry. The suggestion from the warranty contact from LG suggested we may be able to run the dryer without a vent if the code doesnt display. So not inly am i not getting help Im told to rin my machine in an unsafe manner also. Curious if LG is ever going to help and support their crappy product or if Im just SOL. Between lowes and LG and buying the extra care plan no one wants to help.

Disappointing warranty

Dryer worked fine until one day it gave error code. Dryer is 4 months old. After troubleshooting and contacting the company for warranty repair I have been using my clothes line for over two weeks. Evidently there are no service technicians in my area so I cant get it fixed. They should not have a warranty if they are not able to honor it. I will end up repairing it myself.

What a mess that dryer was Picked it up on 6/13/24 installed unit and it was inop. call tech support/warrany. a week later thet sent out a tech who was no help at all. the next week yet anther person came out and ordered parts. Two weeks later tech installs partsstill doesnt work Now the tech says its a wiring problem in the housebut i am a mechanical contractor and previosly inspected circuit. The fourth tech just couldnt fihure it out. needless to say its now8/31/24 and im finally getting a refund
