Inside screws rusted, no help from Warranty

We purchased this microwave less than a year ago. It does have a really good seal on the door to the point of when you cook in it. It keeps condensation inside of it for quite a while. With that happening all the screws inside of the microwave are now rusted. We called Frigidaire and asked what could be done with this since it is still under full warranty and was told they don™€™t do anything to replace the screws or warranty any of it. If we did want to replace the screws on our own, the cost was going to be $75 for eight screws Very disappointed in this. Frigidaire at once time stood behind their appliances and were a very good dealer. When we do have to replace this, you can be sure it will not be replaced with a Frigidaire appliance again. We™€™re basically afraid to use it with the rust on the screws, So are now using a Hamilton Beach $80 microwave that we purchased at Walmart that sits on our counter.

The over the range lights on this microwave are HORRIBLE. Very harsh blue light under the microwave, way too dim to be of any use even on the "High" setting. With all of the LED options these days, you would think they would offer an upgrade kit or something to be able to swap out the LED panel under the unit. The lumens are ridiculously low and there are no options to change the color temperature. Everything else is great so far, but if you are shopping, make sure to operate the over range lights before you purchase. It could be a deal breaker. These microwave rangehood lights wont help you see what you are cooking on the stove top at all. And the color temperature of the lights is too harsh and makes your kitchen back splash and cooktop look ugly.

The microwave features are top-notch. The only issue I can find is how sensitive the front panel is so anytime you touch the door, you turn on the light or the fan. It does well as an air fryer but the pre-heat takes forever and the interior is impossible to clean. I only air fried once, but could not remove the spatter. The oven is fine with the same pre-heat issue, the broil feature is useless. It cooks, but you don't get color or crust.

We put away our clunky air fryer and are using the built in air fryer which is working as expected but do note that the microwave air fryer does take a little longer to cook than the smaller counter top version. It didn™€™t even last a year™€¦.i didn™€™t use it too long since when i bought it i was remodeling my kitchen i installed it and then i used mostly microwave since my oven has air fryer too™€¦.then i started sparking inside™€¦.they sent maintenance to fix it but couldn™€™t™€¦.so now they give me some bs offer on buying my product and give me money on a gift card™€¦.horrible solution since i chose to have all my applianced from them™€¦.not knowing this is how they do business™€¦.i paid a little less than it™€™s worth now so i am noot planing on paying not even 1 cent above what i paid for it™€¦.still under 1 year warranty and you have to spend out of pocket for having to get a new microwave™€¦.i am planing on posting everywhere so people see how they conduct business™€¦.paid over 5000 dollars on appliances with them and this what i get™€¦.buy from another brand that take pride on having good customer service and good warranty for your products™€¦.NOT EVEN A YEAR!!!!!

After doing much research on microwave with convection baking and air fry capabilities I found this unit to be the best for its price point. Others in this class have poor ventilation or poor performance in the convection and air fry capabilities. We like to have the ability to warm up or cook things in our microwave with having to turn on the oven. The unit gets to heat quickly and does a superb job cooking and or reheating when microwaving is not desired. It has full sensor cooking capability as a microwave with all the usual features. You have presets for various methods of cooking, from defrost to treat to sensor cooking. The fan works very well - removing steam and smoke from the cooktop with ease. The overall look of this unit is clean and upscale, from the stainless accents to the shiny interior instead of the normal painted steel interiors of others. The extras included are a shelf, air fry tray with raised stand and a broiler rack. The led light is plenty bright and has a low setting for a night light effect. Overall I am very pleased with this purchased.

When we purchased our microwave we were excited at all it could do. One year later it quit working. It died in Dec 2024. The part has been on order since January and keeps getting delayed. It is now supposed to be here by Feb 13th! 2 MONTHS WITHOUT MY MICROWAVE!!!!! Never will I ever buy Frigidaire again!!!!!!

The oven is frustrating. No recipes so I have an idea how long and temperature to cook food. It seems oven is for PREPARED food mostly. I eat FRESH food, mostly fresh vegetables of all kinds. For me owning this oven is all trial and error. Cooking is very slow and quality is nothing to write home about. I™€™ve had good convection oven cooked vegetables but not from this oven. I need instructions for fresh food if any exist through Frigidaire. So far I am very under impressed with this oven. Want very much to return it.

We replaced a nearly 20 year-old Frigidaire unit - which was still kicking, by the way! - with this fancy one, and my wife and I love it. The air fryer feature is new to us but very cool. The unit itself is gorgeous, by far the nicest thing in our aging kitchen (remodeled in 2005-06). It's a breeze to use and simple to clean. I even love the light it casts onto our range. My new microwave/air fryer

Just got our new microwave w/air fryer installed last night. Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but really like to looks of it. We picked this unit because it matches our Gallery gas range. We have set the clock and did the initial cook in of the air fryer. The only thing we are disppointed about is there is not a programmable night light like our old GE microwave had. Exited to use it, we like all of the features listed.
