Lost a tree during Hurricane Milton, and now the garage has become an absolute oven. Needed an inexpensive but reliable window unit to keep things in a normal temperature range, and this unit fit the bill nicely. Power efficiency wasn't a big criterion for me, more about cooling effectiveness first, and dehumidification second. All else were afterthoughts (i.e. noise, looks, WiFi, etc. all didn't matter to me). I like that it has a remote that I can keep near the house entry door to adjust the unit without walking over to it. I knocked off one star for two reasons: (1) If you turn the unit off, it resumes operation at 72 degrees and in Eco mode. The unit ought to resume with the last settings, not a default. That's an especially irritating design flaw because I understand that if there is a unexpected power loss, then the unit resumes operation at the last settings, once power is restored. Why should it be any different for intentional on-off vs. sudden power loss? (2) The unit doesn't drain condensate, and instead forms a significant pool of water which the condenser fan then hits (about 1" deep). I understand that's an intentional design to increase efficiency due to evaporative cooling when the water gets flung onto the hot condenser coils. While evaporative cooling makes sense for dry areas (e.g. Phoenix), it doesn't work well in humid climates (e.g. Florida). The marginal efficiency gains from evaporative cooling does not outweigh a pan full of water for breeding mosquitos and accelerating corrosion. So I had to carefully drill a hole to ensure water drains immediately without accumulation. Perhaps units should include an optional plug that could be removed for consumers who won't see any real benefit from evaporative cooling?

Have taken advantage of the warm spell we have had in South Texas in the last few days to use my new Frigidaire window room a/c and I have to say that I am really glad I chose this product. It quickly cooled my living room and kitchen! To my amazement, it's surprisingly quite. I had to check it to make sure it was still on. Gotta say,I love it! Recommend it to any one looking to purchase a new window unit. Can't go wrong.

This unit is exactly that, an absolute UNIT!! It cools exceptionally well, and quick, and it isn™™t too noisy, it™™s not silent but it also won™™t interrupt your show when it kicks on. I love it, and I hope you will too!

First up is hard to find 110/120 units over 12k Btu in recent years so pleasantly surprised to not only find a 14.3k Btu but at a reasonable price. Installed and all sealed up in less than an hour. Really nice feature after downloading the app and connecting to Wi-Fi is that not only can access all of the controls from your phone but it also displays the ambient room temperature as well as the the target temperature. I also have a 12k Btu unit that I bought 5 or 6 years ago that has the supplemental heat pump that far exceeded my expectations. Frigidaire puts out quality products and the stand behind them with the warranty.

Working really well. Our kitchen, dining room and living room area are one large open space that would get really hot while baking or cooking meals. Now it is staying nice and comfortable on the hottest of days with this air conditioner. Just wish it was a little quieter.

Taking a chance on window air conditioners can be tough and disappointing. This is the 4t, the best Unit we have tried in the past few years. I have to say that this fridgidaire is hands down the best all around with the best price.

I received this for my Craft Room. the room is 20 feet by 20 feet. It cools the room fast and quiet and I love the feature of using WIFI on my phone. If I am away and I know I am on my way home, I can turn it on and have a cool room to work in. Now my wife wants one for the bedroom.

After receiving and installing this AC unit, I was very happy with how quickly this unit cooled the living room area which is an open floor plan with roughly 600 sq feet. The unit is very quiet compared to other units I have used in the past and I love that I can control it remotely with the app and WIFI.
